    MacGuyver

Since his arrival on the dance music scene, MacGuyver has impacted club goers worldwide. His journey began as a DJ in Philadelphia - close to his roots - where inspiration flourished. As he progressed, he landed many gigs in the local area, and built his now trademark sound of hard progressive trance. Throughout the struggles of college, mixed with maintaining his own identity as a young artist, Mac knew the envelope needed pushing and eventually transformed him into an artist whose canvas was a synthesizer and computer. With newfound success in production, the next step was to begin again in another city ? Boston, MA. It was here that he found himself spinning alongside such icons as Carl Cox, Bad Boy Bill, Frankie Bones and many more, gaining recognition at super clubs like 'Spirt.' In New York City, MacGuyver worked events in legendary venues such as 'Exit' and 'Webster Hall' with undisputed talent such as Paul van Dyk, Tiesto & Paul Oakenfold.

Many fans flocked to hear what could be described as energetic trance marinated with tech-house. This sound could be heard in Chicago, where Mac repeatedly tore up the dance floor at 'Club Explosion,' headlining incredible parties with seamless sets for an extraordinary fan base. Throughout this voyage, Mac built a well-respected discography that includes tracks released in the US, UK, Italy, Germany & Holland. His most recent collaboration with studio partner Tommyboy back in Philly has resulted in TBM Music. "Blue Skies" featuring Cheryl Lynn is an anthemic tune that will send Mac directly to Electronica's A-list. With new residencies at 'Ministry' (NYC) & ' Emerald City' (Philly), he will be sure to continue breaking new ground and tweaking his great sound. This is only the beginning of MacGuyver's new transformation.

    DJ Tommyboy

Music has always been in my life starting with the guitar at age 12. I studied classical music and eventually moved into Electronic Dance Music. The past couple of years have been a growing period for me in the music scene. I started spinning records in 1994, listening to the sounds of house DJ's in the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Junior Vasquez and Robbie Tronco. I picked up a set of used turntables from a thrift shop in my town and began working at sharpening my skills as best as possible, while playing various types of house music and making CD's for self promotion.

Eventually I began searching for something new, something more uplifting and challenging in music. I was given a progressive CD and I was totally blown away, as this was the change, which began to mold my musical future. My first progressive record was Vincent Demoor "Flowtation" which was a turning point in my musical style. I soon started frequenting clubs that played progressive house and trance. I was handing out CD's to Promoters and club goers all the time, in hopes of getting my name out there.

This past couple of years were great for me, as I got some of the best gigs available .As my popularity began to grow, so did the gigs. A few of the most memorable gigs included opening for Kimball Collins, George Acosta, Marco V, NUNrg, Robbie Rivera, Scumfrog ,Jonathan Peters , Denny Tsettos, Mauro Picotto, Robbie Tronco, Plasmic Honey and Christopher Lawrence . A residency at Ministry in NYC, Emerald City, Philly and some gigs at Spirit, NYC followed.

As I continue to grow as a DJ, I plan to expand my horizons both musically and globally. I recently have finished 3 productions with the world- renowned producer DJ Macguyver with many more to come!! We have formed a partnership called TBM Tommyboy/Macguyver Music. Current Remixes include Annie "Free" and Mixin' Marc "Sexual Thing" both released on Esntion Records, Chicago. Also released is the club smash "TBM-"BlueSkies" featuring Cheryl Lynn on Definitive Records.

TBM music plans on many more releases which combine driving basslines and sweet melodies that will be sure to induce "Hands in the air" feelings on dancefloors. Dipping into all kinds of Trance and House tracks combined to make dancefloors move is what TBM does and will continue to do.
