    MacGuyver

Since his arrival on the dance music scene, MacGuyver has impacted club goers worldwide. His journey began as a DJ in Philadelphia - close to his roots - where inspiration flourished. As he progressed, he landed many gigs in the local area, and built his now trademark sound of hard progressive trance. Throughout the struggles of college, mixed with maintaining his own identity as a young artist, Mac knew the envelope needed pushing and eventually transformed him into an artist whose canvas was a synthesizer and computer. With newfound success in production, the next step was to begin again in another city ? Boston, MA. It was here that he found himself spinning alongside such icons as Carl Cox, Bad Boy Bill, Frankie Bones and many more, gaining recognition at super clubs like 'Spirt.' In New York City, MacGuyver worked events in legendary venues such as 'Exit' and 'Webster Hall' with undisputed talent such as Paul van Dyk, Tiesto & Paul Oakenfold.

Many fans flocked to hear what could be described as energetic trance marinated with tech-house. This sound could be heard in Chicago, where Mac repeatedly tore up the dance floor at 'Club Explosion,' headlining incredible parties with seamless sets for an extraordinary fan base. Throughout this voyage, Mac built a well-respected discography that includes tracks released in the US, UK, Italy, Germany & Holland. His most recent collaboration with studio partner Tommyboy back in Philly has resulted in TBM Music. "Blue Skies" featuring Cheryl Lynn is an anthemic tune that will send Mac directly to Electronica's A-list. With new residencies at 'Ministry' (NYC) & ' Emerald City' (Philly), he will be sure to continue breaking new ground and tweaking his great sound. This is only the beginning of MacGuyver's new transformation.

    Michael Myers

As a member of legendary East Coast Production Company Local 13, and as the DJ credited with founding Philadelphia's trance music scene, Michael Myers has always been one of the most dedicated pioneers of the Eastern Seaboard's dance music community. An intensely serious minded and driven individual, Myers was first exposed to techno in 1992 via the music of renowned DJs Josh Wink and Frankie Bones. Although Myers began his career behind the tables spinning hip-hop records, he quickly discovered that electronic music was his calling. Drawn to the melodic tones of progressive trance, Myers found it to be "more intricate to mix than people would think?it's a style of music that is almost a pop format."

Citing influences such as Frank Zenker, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Murano and Oliver Lieb, Myers flawlessly blends the flavors of progressive house and trance. He has found that "the energy and emotion of the progressive trance sound is incomparable to any other form of dance music." When describing his musical style, Myers says," I play whatever moves me?its energetic, 4-to-the-floor, club-oriented dance music, with the occasional break beat or electro breakdown. I like to take a record that is basically a journey within itself and fuse it with other records to take the listener on a trip."

While pursuing his career as a DJ, Myers became deeply involved behind the scenes with two of Philadelphia's dance music institutions: Local 13 and 611 Records. A dynamic member of the Local 13 production company since 1995, Myers is involved in every aspect of their events. He serves as a DJ, promoter, senior partner and event coordinator, helping out with everything from booking the talent to decorating the event venue. Working with 611, Myers has been the store buyer for progressive house and trance since 1999, keeping up with the trends of what is new and hot as the genres' popularity have exploded. In 2000, Myers joined the 611 lineup as their sole trance DJ.

While gaining recognition at Local 13 events for his skills behind the tables, Myers quickly amassed an impressive touring schedule. As he traveled across the North America., playing in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Miami; Michael built a quite a following.

In March 1998, Myers launched his now legendary club weekly, Faith Fridays, at Evolution. He had the position as one of only two residents at Faith ? the other being held by international trance superstar Dave Ralph. The weekly has featured an extraordinary list of guests, including Ritchie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Mike Dearborn, Max Graham, Scott Henry, Joey Beltram and Sandra Collins.

Myers talents soon caught the attention of the SHR Group, a management company that runs some of the biggest dance music labels in the U.S., including Blueline, UC and Afterhours. SHR dubbed Myers as part of the "next wave DJs", and licensed him to mix a compilation of their catalog tracks. Released in July 2001 on UC Records, 4X Harder Volume 4 is a four-DJ, two-disc set that features tracks from artists Lisa Pin-Ups, Nick Sentience, Don Diablo and DJ Yuri.

Currently in the studio, Michael is hard at work producing only upfront quality dance music set to annihilate the dance floor. With a full studio built in the house and DJ Macguyver as a production partner expect a lot of great original material as well as some super smooth remixes to pour out of the studio.
