Lauren Marie

Lauren Marie was born and raised in White Plains, New York. Now with experience, her love and respect for music continues to grow tremendously. Her passion for songwriting and singing came about at the early age of 14. Lauren's melodies and songs are what kept her grounded and from walking down the wrong path of life at such a young age. "My appreciation for music holds no boundaries."

"Music was my alternate reality," says Lauren. I was involved with everything ranging from high school ensembles, chorus, talent shows, and all the simple things like singing over guys beatboxing in the park. It wasn't until the age of 20 that she decided to put her music into action.

Lauren Marie is now collaborating with a DJ/Producer/Remixer, Frank Pellegrino. Frank has released singles in the past that gained him a lot of respect within the dance community. "He was looking to work with a good vocalist at the time and there I was." There collaboration of great songs and solid production became known in different clubs in the NY tri-state area, which lead to performances and club bookings.

Lauren has performed at some of the most sought-after venues in the NY-Tri State area such as clubs; Deep, Star, Spirit, Club Mor, Pearl, and Exit. Thanksgiving Eve of 2003, at her performance at Exit, Lauren opened up for known artist's; Kelis, D-Block and Reina.

"For me the dream is not about money or fame, it's all about being appreciated, heard, and understood." Now that Lauren is linked with Amathus Music good things are on the way. So look out for Lauren Marie as every successful artist has a story!
